Objective

Fall down a lunar bore in a drill pod. Green olivine seams cross the shaft and touching one cracks a hull plate; the second crack ends the run. The pod cannot steer or slow down.

Controls

Tap anywhere — or Space, Enter or the down arrow — to fire one dash of exactly 3.5 units, straight down. The two cream brackets under the pod mark where that dash finishes. While they glow green the landing is inside rock, so firing early is worse than firing late.

Scoring

One point per unit of depth, plus fifteen for every scarlet helium-3 pod. Helium is always seeded deeper than a dash can reach, so the only way to take one is to fall past it before dashing again.

Getting better

The window opens when a seam is 3.5 units away and closes when it arrives — 1.02 seconds at the start, 0.37 at the cap, where the rock is nearly four times thicker and the fall nearly twice as fast. Mashing does not work: a second dash is refused for 0.3 seconds. Two hull plates buy exactly one mistake.
