Objective

A courier rides a rappel arm down the outside of a comms spire at dusk. The spire is ringed with maintenance collars and each one has a single opening. Steer around the mast to be at that opening when the collar reaches you.

Controls

Drag left or right anywhere on the screen, or use the arrow keys or A / D. The courier swings around the mast at up to 3.5 rad/s for as long as you hold the drag off-centre. Nothing else is read.

Scoring

Two points a collar passed cleanly, five a violet parcel. A parcel makes you 0.10 rad wider for about three seconds, so the next opening is a tighter fit — that is the bargain.

Pressure

Three grips: a collar arriving with you outside its opening spends one, and the third ends the run. Nothing costs anything in the first 1.3 seconds. Collars start 1.69 s apart and are 0.61 s apart by half a minute, and their openings, still at first, end up turning at 0.70 rad/s — so late on you lead the gap rather than aim at it.
